  • You take care of everyone else and don’t seem to have enough left over to take care of yourself.  You can’t remember what it feels like to make decisions based on what you want and often struggle identifying and expressing your feelings and needs. You’re stuck in a cycle of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and procrastination.

  • You find yourself ruled by reactions and patterns that leave you and the people around you feeling agitated.  Your emotions swing from one extreme to another without warning,  and you are constantly on the verge of tears or losing your temper.  You often feel frustrated and irritable, impulsive and overwhelmed, or angry and full of shame.  Small things can set off powerful reactions, leaving you overrun with intense body sensations — like there is too much pressure building up inside you. 

 

  • You are experiencing chronic physical symptoms such as headaches, joint pain, muscle tension, constrictions around your breath, and digestive and immune system issues. Your symptoms flare up without any apparent cause or trigger, and you are beginning to think they are stress related.  

 

  • Sometimes it feels like you’re just watching the rest of the world from the outside; you don’t feel like you quite belong anywhere.  You not only feel disconnected from others but from yourself as well.  You have difficulty forming lasting relationships and maintaining healthy boundaries; they always seem to be either too rigid or too loose.  

 

  • You don’t sleep well and you’re tired during the day.  You have a hard time relaxing into sleep or staying asleep. You have difficulty concentrating, your mind wanders during conversations, and you feel like you are moving through a fog.  

 

  • Mental roadblocks, persistent fears, and negative self-talk immobilize you from doing what you know you’re meant to do. It feels like something hidden inside you repeatedly stops you from being able to set goals and achieve them.  You feel limited by your past and stalled in your personal growth.

You don’t have to feel stranded in states of overwhelm, stress, and anxiety — trying to keep up with everything and constantly worrying about what’s next and what else will get piled on.
